Amclar
Privacy & enquiries.
Contact james@amclar.co.uk about your information or an enquiry.
Information you provide
We use your contact details, project location and description to respond to your enquiry and discuss the work. Please include only the information needed for an initial conversation, and avoid sensitive personal information.
Sending an enquiry
The form explains the available sending method. In email-draft mode, it prepares the message on your device; nothing is sent until you send it through your email app. When direct website sending is available, the information is submitted securely to our email delivery service. A confirmation indicates acceptance by that service, rather than a guarantee that the recipient has read the message.
We use enquiry information to take steps towards a possible building contract at your request, and our legitimate interests in responding to business correspondence. We do not add you to a marketing list from a project enquiry.
Storage and service providers
Enquiry emails are held in our business mailbox and processed by the relevant email services. We keep information only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and meet applicable contractual, record-keeping or legal requirements. Contact us if you would like information about a particular record or its deletion.
When direct sending is enabled, temporary security records contain hashed rate-limit and request identifiers rather than your project message. These records expire after 24 hours. The hosting provider also processes technical request information to operate and secure the website.
Cookies and external links
The website does not add analytics or advertising cookies. Instagram is an external service: its own terms and privacy information apply when you follow the link. We do not embed an Instagram tracking feed. If you change the motion setting, a small preference is saved in this browser; it contains no enquiry details.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion or restriction where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Email us with any request or question.
